Golf Tournament History

Jenni-Lyn always had a passion for dance and was a dance major at Mercyhurst College. Shortly after Jenni-Lyn’s passing, the family was approached by members of the community wanting to raise money for the Fund.  One individual, Ed Ventrone, Jr., wanted to organize a golf tournament. What a tournament it was!

2011 was the first one, and each year the tournament has grown in the number of golfers and the funds raised.  We have the best golfers and sponsors!  Everyone plays and gives with passion, something Jenni-Lyn had an abundance of.

In 2016, the fund aided in sending approximately 3,000 children to The Syracuse City Ballet’s Nutcracker performance in December where they received first-hand experience with and learned more about, the art of dance. In addition, the fund aided, through the Liverpool Dollars for Scholars program, a dance student pursuing studies in dance at college.

Jenni-Lyn was always planning and organizing her family’s activities.  Wherever she went it was always fun and games.  We honor her by planning and organizing the annual golf tournament. Won’t you come and play with us? This years’ tournament is Saturday August, 19th at Foxfire.  Hope to see you there!
