Jenni-Lyn Watson was a kind, beautiful, talented, and beloved 20-year-old dance major at Mercyhurst University in Erie PA who was in the prime of her life. She had a burning passion for the arts, friends, family, and traditions. She died all too soon on November 19th, 2010 while at home for Thanksgiving break, at the hands of her ex-boyfriend. Missing for eight days, the community rallied around finding her only to be devastated by her loss.

The 2015 Tournament was again, a huge success. In fact it was our best year ever! Thank you to everyone who participated - whether you golfed on a team or volunteered your time, we could not do this without you. Thank you for helping to keep Jenni’s spirit alive.

With the outpouring of support, her family established two funds to honor Jenni-Lyn’s passion for the art of dance. One fund is held in the CNY Community Foundation the second fund is at Mercyhurst University . Funding for the arts, especially dance, is always a challenge. We are committed to serving these financial needs in honor of our wonderful, sweet Jenni-Lyn.
